Jane Iredale was recommended to me by a friend many years back. She raved about how gentle the formulas were while providing exceptional coverage. I took the leap to this mineral foundation and instantly fell in love!
Why the Jane Iredale brand is so wonderful:
» They’re cruelty-free and animal-friendly.
» They use high-quality ingredients, certified organic and natural
» Their customer service is top notch. They provide hassle-free returns if you need an exchange and will help you find the perfect shade.
» They’re transparent about their ingredients. They understand the individual needs and concerns of their customers.
Look at the care and beauty put into the packaging!
The Pure Pressed Base Mineral Foundation comes in 24 shades. It’s sheer, matte, and truly weightless. The formula is water resistant, vegan, and contains SPF 15-20 (depending on the shade). I’ve tried other mineral foundations but none of them feel this good.
Application and wear:
For the application, I prefer to use a flat-headed brush. Ive applied it over moisturizer, foundation, as well as my bare skin and I’ve never had an issue with caking. It always applies silky smooth, and it wears beautifully throughout the day.
The reusable compact is $18, and the refill foundations are $42. Once you buy the compact, you only need to buy the refills afterward. Looking at my order history, this foundation lasts me roughly 6-7 months with almost daily use. The price is very reasonable considering the quality and how long it lasts. Where to buy:
I’ve always bought this foundation direct from Janeiredale.com. Shipping and returns are free and fast. (I always get it within a couple days!). They always have special offers going on for free products if you spend a little extra. Give them a shot! With their awesome return policy, you have nothing to lose.
